Our CEO Michaela Collins receives an MBE in the New Year Honours

Michaela 30, receives the prestigious award as MBE Member of the Order of the British Empire.

Previous MBE recipients include the award-winning signers Adele and Ed Sheeran.

Michaela, has attended PEEK since she was little. From participant, volunteer, employee to now CEO, she paving communities and organisations all over Glasgow and making positive changes to improve the life chances of others. These efforts have been recognised, particularly the emotional, psychical and economic support Michaela has given to our communities during the uncertain times COVID-19 has thrown at us.

Michaela said “I am really humbled and honoured to have received an MBE in the #NewYearHonours I see it as recognition, not only for my own efforts, but also for so many others involved with PEEK and for everyone who has supported us throughout the COVID19 pandemic.”
